Toronto Student Placements
Thank
you for your interest in doing a student placement at CMHA
Toronto. We value
the opportunity to support students in their career
development and appreciate the enthusiasm they have to offer.
To
apply for a student placement at CMHA Toronto, please fill out
the Student
Placement Application Form, print it off, and return it to
us by mail or fax, along with your resume, following the
instructions found at the end of the form.
You can also scan your completed application form, and
email it to us, along with your resume, to placements@cmha-toronto.net
In
order to help you select the program or service you may be
interested in, we encourage you to go to our website www.toronto.cmha.ca
to learn about our different programs and services.
Once
you have submitted your application, you will receive an email
to let you know that it has been received.
You will then receive a follow-up email to indicate who
will be processing your application.
We require approximately three months to arrange a
placement, which allows us time to match your educational
interests with the needs of our programs. Once
you are selected to do a placement in one of our programs, we
will require a Criminal Reference Check.
Please be advised that, due to the number of students
who apply for placements, we are unable to place everyone, but
we greatly appreciate your interest in CMHA Toronto.
The
application deadline for placements beginning in January 2012
is Friday, October 14th, 2011.
The
application deadline for placements beginning in September
2012 is Friday, May 2nd, 2012.
All
openings for placements beginning in September 2011 are now
filled.
