Mental Health Crisis

If you or someone else is experiencing a psychiatric crisis and want help you can contact the following three 24-hour crisis services in Toronto at no charge.

The Gerstein Centre (serves the former cities of Toronto and York)

The Scarborough Mobile Crisis (serves East York and Scarborough)

  • Community crisis assessment and intervention
  • mobile crisis team response in the home or other community setting
  • telephone crisis line

Integrated Community Mental Health Crisis Response Program
(serves Etobicoke and North York)

  • Continuum of services include mobile crisis intervention
  • support available in the consumer's home or at meeting place of their choice
  • telephone access and support available to family members, significant others, caregivers

Emergency Department
You can also go to your nearest emergency department in a psychiatric crisis.
