Youth Program (TYP)
The TYP assists youth who are diagnosed with schizophrenia
or a mood disorder and just beginning to experience and deal
with symptoms of mental illness. It is an intensive clinical
support service, offering therapeutic and case management
interventions. The goal of the program is to assist the young
individuals to regain/maintain age appropriate milestones
and minimize the impact of mental illness on their lives.
TYP worked closely with clients, families and supports to
assist them to understand and cope with the illness. The key
focuses are education, employment and socialization with peers.
Support is Monday to Friday. Clients can remain in the program
until age twenty-four.

Mood & Psychosis Early
Intervention Program (MOD)
This program provides services to young
persons in the early stages of psychosis and to their families.
This community based, clinical service is interdisciplinary
and recovery focused. MOD has a specialization in psychosis
and mood disorders. The program services include the provision
and coordination of treatment, education, case management,
support and referrals.
