Join CMHA Toronto in celebrating MadPride at a screening of CRAZYWISE

CMHA Toronto will be hosting a free screening of CRAZYWISE, in hopes to ignite a community conversation and movement towards supporting individual understandings of mental health beyond the western medical model. After the screening, join our panelist to discuss how we can take the traditional wisdoms from around the world and apply it to the communities we live in.

WHEN:           Thursday August 3rd  –  6:30 to 9:30 pm

AGENDA:       The screening is 90 minutes long, followed by a 90 minute panel discussion

WHERE:         The Ballroom at 519 Church Street

Crazy…or wise? The traditional wisdom of indigenous cultures often contradicts modern views about a mental health crisis. Is it a ‘calling’ to grow or just a ‘broken brain’? The documentary CRAZYWISE explores what can be learned from people around the world who have turned their psychological crisis into a positive transformative experience.
