Routes

Routes is the union of several CMHA programs coming together and blending their strengths and services to offer the best community based services to our members.

Routes

is a Peer Run Community Space for adults looking to connect with peer support, socialize in a safe and accepting space, and learn about mental health resources.

What is Peer Support?

Peer support strives for recovery and, in doing so, it considers the wellness of the whole person. The philosophy of peer support is that each individual has an innate desire to find a path towards recovery, improved health and wellbeing, and has within themselves the knowledge of what will work for them. Peer support workers support individuals as they find that inner knowledge and reignite that hopeful desire.

What We Do at Routes

We provide a wide variety of recovery educational tools and social programming designed to promote self-awareness and wellbeing. Also, we like to have a lot of fun!

Groups and Workshops

We have some regular programs such as PeerZone, WRAP, Yoga, CBT, Community Walks and Mindfulness, but we’re also regularly trying out new groups and workshops that are based on the feedback and input from our members. So please see the peer staff at Routes if you have program ideas!

Who Can Enroll?

Anyone! Are you looking to access peer support? Are you looking for mental health resources? Or do you want be part of an inclusive and respectful community? Then Routes is for you!
