In October 2020, DYMON Self Storage launched the DYMON Million Masks initiative to donate one million commercial-grade KN95 face masks to charities and community groups across the GTA to combat the spread of COVID-19.
On December 22, 2020, CMHA Toronto was the recipient of their one millionth mask donation! Their compassion and generosity humble us as they graciously donated 15,000 face masks to our agency.
Since the start of the pandemic, our team transitioned to providing our evidence-based programs virtually and followed directives from government and public health officials to keep our residential services operating and ensure service users receive in-person care when required. We serve some of our city’s most vulnerable people, many of whom do not have access to masks and are not adequately protected from the virus.
We were fortunate to have Associate Minister Tibollo visit us to learn about the important work our staff does to continue keeping safe options available to support individuals in need of mental health care during these unprecedented times.
Despite how difficult this pandemic has been on everyone, we are thankful to everyone at DYMON Self Storage for their thoughtfulness and for helping us ensure our staff, service users and their families remain safe and protected.
