Deemed an essential service by the Ontario Government, CMHA Toronto remains open and is doing everything possible to keep safe options available to support individuals in need of mental health care. As many of our programs and services have transitioned to virtual care, our main sites and 24/7 residential sites remain open to address urgent care needs and for service users who require medication and/or injection.
If you would like to help us as we continue to meet the growing needs for mental health care in our community, please consider making a donation. Whether a one-time or recurring monthly donation, your gift will allow us to continue delivering critical mental health services in our community.
Our staff are working diligently to respond to requests from our service users who need various food and medical supplies and are unable to afford them. If you would like to make a direct donation to support CMHA Toronto service users in need of medical and basic necessities, please consider donating to the Green-Fischer Fund which has been helping our service users since 1999.
You can also direct your donation to our new Food Box Program which has been established to prepare boxes of food and toiletries for CMHA Toronto clients in need of essential items.

Planned Giving
Promote mental health and save taxes with gifts of stock, life insurance, annuities, trusts and bequests.
There are many different ways to make a planned gift. Planned gifts can be tailored to your personal and financial circumstances. The most common type of planned gift is a charitable bequest in a person’s Will. However, more and more Canadians are realizing the benefits of giving through methods such as gifts of publicly traded stocks and mutual funds, and life insurance policies.
Please Seek Expert Advice: Canadian Mental Health Association strongly recommends professional advice to ensure that your financial goals are considered, your tax situation reviewed and your planned gift is tailored to your circumstances.
